The public is invited to tour historic Estey Hall. Tour guides who previously lived in Estey Hall will share information on the restoration and history that lives within the walls of Estey Hall. A highlight of the afternoon will be the unveiling of (2) special commissioned visual art pieces of Estey Hall by Washington, DC visual artist, Roger James and NC Folk artist Nellie Ashford, alumnus of Shaw University. Get into the holiday spirit at the Estey Hall tree lighting while enjoying an evening of jazz, spoken word, and traditional holiday sing-a-long. FREE
Tuesday, November 28, 6 pm-8 pm

Commissioned artists, Nellie Ashford and Roger James will discuss their work with area artists, students, and collectors from the local arts community and public. FREE

The inaugural lecture will feature a nationally recognized speaker (TBA) in the auditorium. A pre-lecture reception will be hosted in the Museum Lobby. Invitation Only (250 capacity)
